The Village Market confirms ownership of the 'satanic' cargo impounded at the port of Mombasa

Satanic
The Market Masters Ltd, a company which runs the Village Market has confirmed the ownership of the strange cargo that was impounded at the port of Mombasa a few days ago, and was linked to a local politician initially.

At first, the KRA officials at the port linked that 'satanic' cargo to a one time assistant minister Omingo Magara. But Mr. Magara came out guns blazing to deny these allegations. He went ahead to give KRA seven days to apologise for this, failure to which he’ll move to court to seek compensation for damages.

Meanwhile, the Village Market came forward to claim ownership of the halloween items. In a press statement, the company revealed that they are to be used to decorate the Village Market during Halloween later this month.

Part of the statement read;
Market Masters LTD, hereby confirms that indeed we have ordered for the Halloween decorative items imported from China in container number PCIU 8125750, and are not restricted items.

Just like during Easter Holiday or Christmas season, the items in question are solely used for decorating the entire shopping centre for our annual Halloween parties held within village market every last Saturday in October, for the past 17 years.

We needed to replace the old worn out ones with us, in readiness for our upcoming Halloween party slated for 26th October 2013.

This brings to an end speculations that have been going round as to who owns this satanic costumes.
