The critical radio personality, on Wednesday, termed President Uhuru and his Deputy William Ruto as 'selfish leaders', who were only after the presidency in order to shelter themselves from their personal problems with the International Criminal Court (ICC).
While referring to the AU summit that took place in Ethiopia, Waweru Mburu noted that the Uhuru/Ruto government has no Kenyans interests at heart, only there 'to perpetuate impunity'. This he says, was evident when President Uhuru Kenyatta took the stand, discussing his personal problems with the ICC only and not the welfare of Kenyans and the country as a whole.
The ever critical Waweru Mburu went further to claim that the two ICC indictees have made Kenya more of a 'laughing stock' in front of the international community, thanks to their cases at the The Hague based ICC.
He concluded by saying, "I agree Uhuru Kenyatta is my President but I always feel ashamed to say so".
