Joho unveils State-of-The-Art pollice patrol cars

The Mombasa County government has unveiled State of The Art police vehicles. The cars are meant to heighten security in the County ahead of the high tourism season.

According to the Star, 14 out of the intended 48 police patrol cars have been cleared to leave the Mombasa port and they will be distributed to various stations in the six constituencies in the County.

These police vehicles are fully equiped with the state of the art communication equipments, connected to the internet and have 360 degree cameras that can zoom in on targets from as far as a half kilomtre away.

The cars were assembled at the  Automarine Garage near City Mall along the Mombasa - Malindi highway.

The locals as well as businessmen in the county are hoping that these State of The art police patrol vehicles will improve security in the area for both the locals and tourists.
