Kisii MPs demand an apology from Raila Odinga for playing politics at funeral

A section of  legislatures from  Kisii county have demanded an apology from the Cord leader and presidential loser Raila Odinga for turning a funeral at Gusii stadium into a political field.

Expressing their concerns at the parliament buildings on Wednesday, 24th July, the members of parliament led by the Kitutu Chache legislator, Mr. Richard Onyonka, demanded that Raila apologizes for politicizing a funeral giving a wrong perception of the Kisii community.

They also called on the Cord leader to realize that the Kisii community respects president Uhuru Kenyatta as their president and urged him, Raila Odinga, to accept defeat, move on and stop whining.

Echoing Onyonka's sentiments while speaking at the same venue, Jimmy Angwenyi, Kitutu North MP, said the Kisii community will not accept to be misled by what he termed as a 'seasoned loser'.
