After the ban of miraa in the UK and other countries, Igembe south member of parliament Mithika Linturi has said that contrary to what many people believe, chewing miraa leaves men 'very fertile and pretty good in bed'.
He said this while contributing to a motion seeking to regulate the miraa industry in the country.
Mr. Linturi even dared those demonizing the use of miraa to try it out saying they will never disappoint their spouses.
"We do not import men to Meru to come and sleep with our women, because we are capable of reproducing ourselves, thanks to miraa", said Mr. Linturi.
